Gorilla Glue girl’s GoFundMe page, Tessica Brown, surpassed more than $ 20,000 in donations on Thursday after doctors finally removed the sticky items with surgery.

The 40-year-old Louisiana – whose hair had remained strong for a month after using superglue as a hair spray substitute – began fundraising on Monday.

She raised over $ 13,000 in a single day – and by Thursday afternoon that number rose to $ 20,577.

The fundraiser – started by Brown and a relative and using a photo of her emergency room visit – did not specify what she would use the money for.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Michael Obeng offered to perform Brown’s surgery – a $ 12,500 procedure – for free after hearing about the appalling ordeal.

“How does it feel to feel your hair like this again?” someone can be heard asking Brown after the four-hour procedure, in footage released by TMZ.

“Now I wish I had waited to cut my ponytail,” says Brown.

Brown has a lawyer and is evaluating a dispute against Gorilla Glue.
