WWE has confirmed a big match featuring stars from SmackDown for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.

The company had announced a hit ad from Paul Heyman and Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the show. It happened as Adam Pearce was trying to get Reigns to defend the Universal Title against several stars on that show.

Unlike Raw WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, Reigns will only have one opponent instead of five. “The Big Dog” will defend the title against the winner of the Elimination Chamber Match immediately on the same evening.

Those in the chamber match will be Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, King Corbin, Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan and Cesaro.

For the past few months, Reigns had argued with Owens. Their first match was in the TLC pay-per-view event while the rematch was on December 24 from SmackDown inside a Steel Cage, and their third fight was a Last Man Standing Match. at the Royal Rumble pay-per- last month. see the event. Reigns won all three matches.

It had previously been reported that WWE had no plans to host an elimination match with women. So, speculation shifted to Reigns and the Universal Title, which it turned out to be.

WWE presents the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
