Android 11 One UI 3.0 Update for Galaxy S10 Unlocked in USA

Samsung started rolling out the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 firmware update for the Galaxy S10 series in the first week of January. The update debuted in Europe, but is finally making its way to the Galaxy S10 series in the United States. It’s being rolled out for unlocked models, although carrier variants should eventually receive the same treatment.

The Android 11 / One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy S10 series in the US is coming a little later than expected, especially now that it’s been a month and a half since the initial rollout in Europe. However, as many of you are probably aware, Samsung was forced to withdraw the initial version due to unspecified issues for about a week before taking it back.

Everything that was wrong with the initial release should have been fixed already, and owners of the Galaxy S10 series in the US can finally join the One UI 3.0 party that started earlier this year. They will get a new reworked UI with a modernized look throughout UI and third party apps, new alerts and notifications, new lock screen features and much more.

Unlocked Galaxy S10 owners in the US should be able to download the new firmware update – identified by the firmware version G97xU1UEU4FUA4 – when opening Settings on their phones, by accessing Software update and choosing the Download and install option. They can also find and download the firmware from our archive and manually install it on their phone using a PC.
