“1000-Lb. Sisters’ star Tammy wasn’t rejected by Jerry for her pansexuality

Star “1000-Lb. Sisters” Tammy slaton was left in the dust by her onscreen boyfriend Jerry after revealing she was pansexual – but the guy didn’t dive into it … TMZ has learned.

Jerry sykes tells us … yes, he left Tammy and ended their relationship – as shown on Monday night’s episode on TLC – but that’s not why everyone can think of … namely that she revealed that she was attracted to all types of people, which seemed to put him off.

You will remember … Tammy made the reveal, which was teased in a clip this weekend. Jerry looked particularly stunned. Tammy said she would date a transgender person. After the episode aired, viewers discovered that he ended up breaking up and moving out.

Not only did this upset Tammy, viewers wondered about the timing – you know, since Tammy had just stepped out and been honest about her sexuality earlier in the episode. However, he wants to set the record straight … pansexuality is not over.

Jerry says he needed a break, because he felt guilty about a previous relationship – his marriage, no less – and had to make amends before he could continue with Tammy.

In February – about three to four months AFTER the pansex episode was filmed – we’re told that Jerry and Tammy still weren’t in a romantic relationship. It’s unclear if they’re still communicating at this point … but anything he had to do then is still being processed.

Jerry’s home drama lies in his ex-wife, Kia Russell-Rucker Sykes … who tells TMZ that she found out about Jerry’s relationship with Tammy through TV and her friends – which came to her as news when she first heard about it, at the during season 1 last year.

Kia says they’ve split up, and she believes Tammy is a wrecker. That said, she says she and Jerry are still talking … and he’s helping her financially. Looks like they’re in pretty decent conditions – especially since Jerry has returned to treat.
