FKA twigs speaks out.

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter, born Tahliah Barnett, filed a lawsuit in December accusing Shia LaBeouf, 34, of abusing her during their former relationship.

In the lawsuit – which also included similar accusations from another ex of the actor – Barnett accused the star of “relentlessly” physically, mentally and emotionally abusing her.

Shortly after the complaint was filed, LaBeouf issued a response in which he denied “each” of the allegations made by Barnett and claimed that she “suffered no injury or damage as a result of [his] Actions. “

Now Barnett sat down with CBS’s Gayle King to talk about the alleged ordeal and explained how things have turned sour between the two.

The relationship has had red flags from the start, the singer said.

“At first he would jump over the fence where I was staying and leave flowers outside my door, poems and books,” she reminded King in a “CBS This Morning” interview. “I thought it was very romantic, but that quickly changed. I now understand that this tests your limits.

Barnett said she now understood that it was “inappropriate” to jump over a fence. “It breaks a border, but it didn’t stop there,” she explained.

“His behavior gradually became more and more abusive,” Barnett said.

A representative for LaBeouf did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

Barnett used the term “love bombardment” in her accusations against the “Holes” star, which she explained as “putting me on a pedestal, telling me I was amazing, exaggerated displays of affection, just to hit me on the pedestal, to tell me that I was worth nothing, to criticize me, to reprimand me, to separate me, ”she said.

The star also claimed that she had to provide “a certain amount of physical affection per day” for LaBeouf, including touching and kissing. She alleged that she had to engage in 20 displays of physical affection each day.

According to Barnett, LaBeouf would have “wasted” it, which she described as when “someone downplays your experience and changes your narrative and doesn’t listen to you and deny your experience.”

“Eventually it got physical,” she asserted before alleging, “There were certain instances where he would push me and then he would say, ‘You fell,’ and I would get really confused and think: “Maybe I did. ‘”

She also recounted a trip the couple took to a spa, which she claimed to have seen LaBeouf “run down the freeway and say if I left him or said I didn’t like him and I ‘was going to leave him, that would smash the car against the side of a wall. “

Barnett said that at the time, she believed LaBeouf was in desperate need of control, that he would rather “kill us both” than lose control.

Then, she claimed, LaBeouf pulled up to a gas station where he picked her up, threw her against the car and began to “strangle” her.

“That’s when I realized, ‘I need help getting out of this relationship,'” the “Two Weeks” frontman told King.

She said she asked LaBeouf to donate money to charity as well, but he allegedly didn’t, so she sued.

Regarding LaBeouf’s statement in which he said he was “sorry” for his “abusive” behavior towards those in his life, Barnett said he was reminded of the alleged “gaslighting” she was doing. ‘accused.
