Pokémon GoThe next three months of in-game events will include the addition of new Legendary Pokémon to the game.
Notably, the Therian Forms of the Forces of Nature, Tornadus, Landorus, and Thundurus, will be coming to the game. Niantic noted that more Legendary Pokémon will also be making their debuts. It’s likely that we’ll start seeing legendary Pokémon from the Kalos region soon, like Xerneas and Yvetal.
Other Mega Evolved Pokémon will also debut this season, although there have been no details on which.
Different Pokémon will also appear in different hemispheres over the seasons. Specifically, players in the Northern Hemisphere will be able to find the Spring version of Deerling, and players in the Southern Hemisphere will be able to find the Fall version.
The season will start on March 1 and last until June 1, with perks such as increased XP gained by completing five-star raids. The final season was all about ‘celebration’ and included different events each week focusing on different regions of Pokémon, increasing the spawn rates of Pokémon from the respective regions.
