Martha Stewart says she was ‘pissed off’ her probation officer wouldn’t allow her to house SNL

Martha Stewart recalls being very upset that she was not allowed to serve as a host on Saturday Night Live.

The 79-year-old media personality recently sat down for an interview with Harper’s Bazaar and spoke about the circumstances surrounding his arrest in 2004.

The TV host specifically mentioned that she only had one regret about the time and was not allowed to host the long-running sketch comedy program.

She blamed the ban on her probation officer, who she said would “ not give me time. ”

Stewart continued to bemoan the missed opportunity and commented that she was very upset with her probation officer’s decision.

“ It really pissed me off because I would have loved to host Saturday Night Live. I would like that on my CV, ”she explained.

The reality TV personality’s legal issues stem from an incident in 2002 in which she engaged in insider trading.

Stewart said: “ I knew I was strong coming in and I was definitely stronger going out … It was a very serious event in my life. I take it very seriously. ‘

The designer also said that while she didn’t just have bad feelings about the period, the whole experience would be life changing.

“I’m not bitter about it, but…. My daughter knows all the problems that have resulted from it. There are a lot of them, ” she noted.

Stewart concluded the interview with some advice she wanted to give to readers of the article.

“I’ve said it so many times, but take charge of your life. Don’t let others rule you. Know what you want. I really believe in it, ”she said.
