Samsung has been relentless with updates lately and shows no signs of dropping with the February security fix on the Galaxy Note 9.
The update was first spotted on Russian handsets and comes with the software version N960FPUS2CSB1. That said, although we saw the security patch for the February Galaxy S9, it was not long enough to reach all devices. We anticipate that the same update will occur for Note 9 in the days and weeks to come.
Regarding the content of this update, it incorporates night mode planning, improved stability of Wi-Fi and NFC, as well as some gesture adjustments and some bugfixes. This update also removes the blur when you reduce the hue of notification, which I had already said and I like very much. I am sure that some people will like the removal of this blur.
While Samsung should be commended for a serious change of attitude with regard to updates, we expect that they will slow down a bit with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 at the time. dawn of the horizon.
We hope, however, that this update will be rolled out globally before the mega-event Unpacked 2019 – which is only a few days away now.
