The Houston Rockets could try to trade Victor Oladipo, as some around the NBA believe he will sign with the Miami Heat this offseason.
Oladipo will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2020-2021 season and would benefit from coming to Miami.
“Some in the league believe Victor Oladipo could be a candidate to sign a contract with the Miami Heat during the next free agency period. So you have to imagine the Rockets will be looking to move the double All-Star.”

For Houston, which is currently under reconstruction, offloading Oladipo for anything would be better than losing him in free agency for nothing.
The Rockets acquired Oladipo from the Indiana Pacers as part of the deal that sent James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets.
Houston has struggled a lot lately, having lost 10 straight games to fall to 11-20 this season.
Oladipo has been solid this year, averaging 19.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
If a candidate is willing to part with an asset to have Oladipo in the latter part of this season, the Rockets could take the offer.
The NBA trade deadline is March 25.
