A star of hit TLC 90 Day Fiance says his ex-girlfriend is in better financial shape because of him and the show.
Ed Brown, 55 – known as ‘Big Ed’ – says his ex-Filipino Rose Vega, 24, is now ‘in a better financial situation’, due to their relationship, s opening about it in an interview with People magazine.
Meeting his potential young wife for the first time online, he traveled to her home in the Philippines to woo her before things quickly moved south.

Despite his breakup, Big Ed said Rose has been very successful because of him and the fame the show has given them.

The couple virtually reunited on the 90 Day Bares All spin-off, where they addressed the shortcomings that caused their relationship to break down, eventually making amends.

On the show, he lied about her height of 4’11 before meeting her, implied that she was asleep asking her to take an STD test, and even made a blunt remark about his personal hygiene, him saying she had hairy legs and bad breath.
There, he also looked publicly at his family’s living quarters – panicked by their makeshift roof, free roaming cattle and the presence of rats in the shower.
Ed confessed, “ What was great about it was that I have to be complete with Rose. And I must apologize. And I was kind of forgiven, ”saying that they both decided to“ move on ”.
