VALLEJO (CBS SF) – A hot air balloon carrying 11 people was forced to land in a swampy area of the island of Skaggs, near Highway 37, to the west of Vallejo, Sunday morning. The pilot indicated that the balloon had been forced to power lines by high winds in the area.

Ten passengers were reportedly taken in ambulances. A passenger was slightly injured, according to the Vallejo Fire Department.
