Harry Styles performed ‘Watermelon Sugar’ at the 2021 Grammys

Harry Styles opened the 2021 Grammy Awards with a sultry performance from his Fine line “Watermelon sugar” track. Styles is nominated for the first time at the Grammy Awards this year, earning nods in the category Best Pop Vocal Album for his second album as well as in Best Pop Solo Performance (“Watermelon Sugar”) and Best Music Video (” Adore You “).

Styles took the stage in a leather suit and a green feathered boa to perform his hit, in a darker tone than the recorded version. Dev Hynes (who plays as Blood Orange) joined him on guitar. Hynes added an electrifying solo as Styles removed the boa and showed off his dance moves.

Fine line was released in December 2019 and has received numerous accolades since its debut, including surpassing the Rolling stone Table of 200 albums. It also landed on the revised list of the 500 best albums of all time, released last fall. His singles “Watermelon Sugar” and “Adore You” also proved to be big hits, both of which were in the Top 20 charts. RS 100.

Like many recognized artists at the show this year, Styles was scheduled to go on tour for an extensive tour in support of his second solo album. Instead of being on the road, Styles signed on for various film roles. He recently completed the psychological thriller directed by Olivia Wilde Don’t worry darling alongside Oscar nominee Florence Pugh and will soon begin filming an adaptation of the 2012 book My policeman. At the time of going to press, his 2020 tour dates are tentatively postponed until later this year.
