Travis Scott went to work, literally, to make sure his new spiked seltzer hit the local shelves … but in doing so, he created a chaotic and potentially dangerous scene.
Scott visited several grocery stores around Los Angeles on Monday to promote his CACTI spiked seltzer. The rapper walked into a lodge in West Hollywood to check out his product and grab a packet of chewing gum … only to be swarmed by fans.
You can see the cashier and another customer getting swallowed up by the crowd as Travis signs autographs and tries to pay off his eraser.
What’s most upsetting about the video … some fans don’t wear masks, and whenever he talks or screams, Travis pulls his own mask off … overcoming the interest in wearing one.
Grocery stores have gone to great lengths to ensure that customers can shop safely, and see safe practices like wearing masks and social distancing completely ignored – essentially on a packet of gum – not will undoubtedly annoy the management of the store.
