Good Morning Britain personality Alex Beresford kept the light on after Piers Morgan dubbed him “tense”.

Beresford – who faced off on the air with Morgan before the star’s bitter departure from the morning show earlier this month – told his followers over the weekend: ‘Bless you on what looks like a gray Sunday. Remember the sun is always rising and setting somewhere in the world so beautifully every day.

The post comes after Morgan, 55, opened up about her exit from ‘Good Morning Britain’ with the Daily Mail, reflecting on her heated debate with Beresford over Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

“Normally I relish the noise. But unregulated social media, as anyone in the public eye will confirm, has become increasingly vicious and mean, ”Morgan said, noting that when he appeared on camera on Tuesday, March 9, he felt “tired and restless”.

“Alex Beresford looked just as tense and went on a very personal attack,” Morgan said of the 40-year-old meteorologist.

Morgan, a longtime critic of the Duchess of Sussex, said he didn’t believe Markle’s comments during her lengthy meeting with Winfrey, who spoke of her suicidal thoughts and alleged racism within the Royal Family.

During this month’s heated discussion, Beresford told Morgan: “I understand you don’t like Meghan Markle. You’ve said it so clearly many times on this program, and I understand you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off, ”Beresford said.

“Did she say something about you after she interrupted you?” She has the right to interrupt you if she wishes. And yet, you continue to ransack it, ”he continued.
