Piers Morgan has criticized CBS as the “loose broadcast system” following the departure of girlfriend Sharon Osbourne from “The Talk” amid a racial controversy last week.
In a scathing column published Monday for the Daily Mail, Morgan referred to Sheryl Underwood, now a former colleague of Osbourne, who appeared to be defending George Lopez after his crass rant in 2017.

In a statement released by CBS, the network said, “The events of the March 10 show have shocked everyone involved, including the viewing public at home.
