COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Police were investigating a shooting that took place in broad daylight at a popular Colorado Springs park on Monday.
Officers were called to Memorial Park at approximately 5:25 pm Police said someone was shot near Prospect Lake. At 6:25 p.m., the suspect was at large. The victim was taken to hospital, his condition was not available when this article was last updated.
No suspicious description was immediately available. If you were in the area or live nearby and have information that the police may find helpful, you are asked to call 719-444-7000.
