Eva Mendes serves as a ‘canvas’ for her two children Esmerelda and Amanda

Eva Mendes showed the colorful styles of her two children and how they use it as a “canvas”.

The 47-year-old actress took to Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a new photo of herself, revealing some of the colors her children, Esmerelda, six, and Amanda, four, used on her face.

The Hitch star took it all in stride, but it seems to happen quite frequently in her house.

She wore a black and white striped top with large gold earrings and a colorful headdress for pressure.

There were spots of red and green paint visible on her cheek and chin, as proof that she was a “canvas”.

They started dating soon after, with Mendes giving birth to Esmerelda in 2014 and Amanda in 2016.

She also made the decision to step down from the actress, with her final role in her husband Gosling’s first film, Lost River.

Asked about her six-year hiatus in an Instagram comment last year, Mendes said there were roles she just didn’t want now that she was a mom.

“As a mother now, there are a lot of roles that I won’t play. There are a lot of topics that I don’t want to get involved in, so this limits my choices and it’s fine with me. Now I have to set an example for my daughters, ”she said.

In 2018, just two years after his retirement, Mendes told E! Online, she just doesn’t want to let her kids go back to work.
