BTS just made history in the UK!
On March 31 local time, the British phonographic industry (BPI) officially announced the nominees for this year’s BRIT Awards, and BTS landed its first-ever nomination. Widely regarded as the UK’s most prestigious music awards ceremony, the BRIT Awards are an annual event celebrating the achievements of popular music.
For the upcoming 2021 BRIT Awards, BTS is in the running for the best international group award, an award that was reinstated this year after a one-year hiatus.
BTS, who is now the first Korean artist to win a BRIT Award nomination, will face the other nominees Foo Fighters, Run the Jewels, Haim and Fontaines DC.
