Rebel Wilson’s new dog grooming show, “Pooch Perfect,” premiered Tuesday night with backlash on social media.

Many viewers took to Twitter and complained that the ABC competition series was abusive of dogs who are heavily groomed and dyed to match the theme of the week.

“Pooch” features Wilson as host with “Real Housewife” star Lisa Vanderpump, veterinarian Callie Harris and celebrity groomer Jorge Bendersky as judges.

“You can’t convince me that dogs like to be bitten, cut, jeweled and dressed like that,” a Twitter user said.

“This show is a disgusting show. It’s not art, it’s animal abuse. #PoochPerfect”, one person wrote.
