STRAIT – The city of Detroit is in the process of adding immunization capacity to the TCF Center as it has received an influx of nominations due to expanded eligibility.
On Monday, the city announced that all residents of Detroit were eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. This means that any Detroit resident can call to make an appointment to be vaccinated at the TCF center.

The TCF Center will begin offering a room visit option to increase the daily immunization capacity from 5,000 doses per day to 8,000 per day starting next week. City workers can bring family members to the TCF for vaccinations on April 10.
Those who receive their first dose will be able to receive it in their car via the driving site or by parking on the roof terrace of the TCF and being vaccinated inside the TCF center.
