PlayStation Plus really wants us to play Days Gone in April

The April 2021 lineup for PS Plus is Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5), Days Gone (PS4), and Zombie Army 4: Dead War (PS4)

Sony is back with three games for PlayStation Plus in April, and it’s an interesting bundle.

Some people – especially PlayStation 5 owners – are likely to feel aggrieved by Sony’s decision to overtake. From April 6 to May 3, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to claim Oddworld: Soul Storm (PS5 only), Days gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War for their library.

In a vacuum, I love this lineup, but for anyone who has a “free” copy Days gone with their PS5 via the PlayStation Plus Collection promo, it’s a retreading. Of course, there’s a lot to love about this open-world adventure – more than people initially thought – and it’s a of meat Game. As a gift, this is a solid choice.

We already knew Oddworld: Soul Stormthe inclusion of after a recent State of Play (which felt like the sixth time we’ve seen this long-running game appear on a stream), so it’s no surprise. Are you curious? It is worth repeating it even though Storm Soul also launches on PS4, you can only claim the PS5 version through PS Plus – Alalthough you don’t need to own the console to do so yet.

As for Zombie army 4I have never fallen in love with this wild series, but I am strangely open to the idea. I’m back on the Resident Evil 4 train and have been hard with the mercenaries. When I’ve done all I can with the full crew, I’ll be in the mood for even more frenzied chaos.

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to type Ratchet and Clank for free (deadline is March 31) and the rest of Play At Home 2021 games as well (you have until April 22). Unlike April’s PlayStation Plus titles, anyone can use this content with a free account.
