The CGI creation – a cross between Jeff Bezos and a crash test dummy – is known online for its presence on stock market memes.
Its popularity has only grown again this year – like the soaring stones it illustrates – due to the GameStop stock market shenanigans last month.
Now, on April 1, it’s truly available for purchase in the Fortnite in-game item store. Promise!
Diamond Hanz, as he calls it, became available for purchase for 1,200 V-Bucks in a surprise April Fool’s Shop update at 2 p.m. UK time this post. midday.
In the stock market, diamond hands are a term used to describe someone who holds gems – while risking a sudden crash in the process.
Fortnite, of course, is no stranger to meme skins. His release from an alien skin and the Naruto racing emote on the day of the Area 51 “attempted” invasion also comes to mind.
