Brian Howerton said the incident occurred around 11:15 am Thursday. His family returned home around 15:30. to find their dog, blue, cut and bloody.
Howerton said that they could not understand what had happened to Blue before they noticed that a parcel had been delivered in their driveway.
"The postman has crushed our dog and has no remorse!"
Howerton said that the woman in the video was not their usual wearer. One can hear him screaming after the two dogs throughout his package shipment to the Howerton.
Blue and Bear are both Labradors. Howerton calls them "good, good dogs" with which everyone hears, including the usual family factor, FedEx and UPS drivers who bring treats.
He said that they had shock necklaces not to go out of the property, but that they were just outside to enjoy the hot weather of Valentine's Day.
The family reported to the sheriff's office after watching the video. They also called the post office, but were asked to call back Tuesday to speak to the postmaster of the incident.
