Format
Private and custom associations are not yet available in Apex Legends, so this tournament will take place in public online lobbies.
The tournament in each region will feature ten teams of three players playing separately in public matches for two two-hour periods and trying to score as many points as possible.
The teams will have an unlimited number of tests within the given deadlines and the scoring system will be based on the following criteria:
- Victory Match = 10 points
- 2nd or 3rd place = 5 points
- 4th or 5th place = 3 points
- Kills = 1 points
Price distribution
The Apex Legends Challenge offers a total prize pool of $ 200,000, of which $ 100,000 goes to each of the two regions. Since there will be four competitions in total (two for NA, two for UE), each tournament will have a prize money of $ 50,000.
Teams will be ranked according to the number of points they will be able to win during the four-hour competition. Each position in the leaderboard has a cash amount that will be awarded to players on that team.
