Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” Fauci said Americans who aren’t vaccinated against the coronavirus should be worried about a spike in Delta variant cases.
“It is very clear that this is an unpleasant variant. It has a much greater capacity for person-to-person transmission,” Fauci said, adding that the vaccines used in America to fight the coronavirus “are working very good “and protect against the Delta variant.
“The bad news is that we have a very nasty variant, the good news is that we have a vaccine that works against it,” Fauci said.
