Prince George visited Wembley Stadium to once again cheer on the England football team. The 7-year-old prince attended the Euro 2020 final today alongside his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The young royal wore a navy blue suit, blue shirt and red striped tie, similar to his last appearance in a Euro match. Prince William, who is president of the Football Association, once again wore coordinating shades with his son. Duchess Kate wore a white blazer and eye-catching red top and earrings from London designer Blaiz. The Duchess of Cambridge’s outfit was a tribute to the red and white flag of England.
Prince George attended the England-Germany game alongside his parents last month. The England side won this game against their biggest rivals, and the seven-year-old could serve as a lucky charm for today’s game.
Several royals sent their best to the England squad ahead of the final. Yesterday, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth sent a personal message to team manager Gareth Southgate, ahead of England’s first final appearance since 1966.
“55 years ago I had the chance to present the World Cup to Bobby Moore and saw what it meant for the players, management and support staff to reach and win the final of a great international football tournament, “said Her Majesty.
“I want to extend my congratulations to you and my family on reaching the final of the European Championships, and send you my best wishes for tomorrow with the hope that history will record not only your success but also the spirit, commitment and pride with which you have conducted yourself, ”she added.

The Duke of Cambridge also shared a video message with the England squad on Instagram. “To every member of the England squad on and off the bench, I just want to wish you the best of luck tonight. What a team performance that has been. Every member of the squad has played their part The whole back-end team has been really essential, though, ”he said.
“I can’t really believe this is happening. So exciting. I just wish you the best of luck. You bring out the best of England and we are all behind you. The whole country is behind you. So bring back- home, “he added.
Princess Eugenie also celebrated today’s match in style. She shared an Instagram story of her son, August, wearing English pajamas. The clip consisted of the song “Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home)”, which was released in 1996 to celebrate the England football team hosting the European Championships that year.
