Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is Capcom’s follow-up to the Monster Hunter 2016 stories that launched for 3DS. Stories is a spin-off from the main Monster Hunter series that sees players take on the role of a horseman instead of a hunter. While many of the basic elements of the series remain, such as defeating monsters in order to loot monster parts which you can then transform into awesome armor and weapons, Stories features a monie buddy system, where your monster will accompany you through fight.
You can have up to five monsters in your party (six later in the game), and you can get new monsters by finding and hatching monster eggs. You can then train your monsters and create the perfect team to help you on your adventures.
