Conor McGregor said ahead of his UFC 264 fight with Dustin Poirier that he was “coming in to kill this man,” and a new video from the weekend’s fight appeared to show him making threats.

McGregor suffered a horrific leg injury in the first round of the bout. As Poirier spoke with UFC commentator Joe Rogan after being declared the winner, McGregor was apparently still threatening Poirier.

In the video, McGregor is heard saying, “In your sleep you get it.”

The tweet showing the video claimed that McGregor had also threatened Poirier’s wife Jolie, but the noise in the T-Mobile Arena made it difficult to know if the threat had been issued.

Poirier alluded to other threats from McGregor during his post-fight press conference on Saturday night.

“Conor said nasty stuff that didn’t work out on ‘UFC Embedded,’ he said, via MMA Junkie.“ Maybe when the behind the scenes of this fight airs you’ll see it on the land still saying very bad things. But even these things being said, I do not wish anyone serious harm like this. The guy has children. I want him to go home safe and sound with his family. I pray before these fights. “

“Every time before I walk through that octagonal door, I pray that I don’t win,” Poirier continued. “I pray that we both get out of there safe and sound. I know what I’m going to try to do to him and I know what he’s going to try to do with me.”

McGregor also sent some of his pre-fight and post-fight trash to Poirier’s wife.

It was even too much for UFC President Dana White.

“I haven’t heard a single word of it,” White said at the post-fight press conference, according to MMA Junkie.

But when told what was pitched against Jolie Poirier, White said he “didn’t like it”.

“Yeah, that’s not right. Leave people’s families and wives and stuff out. Family has nothing to do with it,” he said.
