The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Warzone is upon us, as Season 4 Reloaded has been officially announced. With new guns, operators, modes and more, here’s when it’ll be released and what to expect.
New weapons, new modes, a new kill sequence, new cosmetics and a new operator. There’s a lot to come to Warzone (and Black Ops Cold War) in the Season 4 Reloaded midseason patch.
With a locked-in release date and overall patch notes released, players can get ahead and figure out what to expect. Luckily, we’ve got you covered.
Warzone Season 4 New reloaded weapons: OTs9 and Mace
OT 9: SMG (Launch)
A fully automatic SMG that’s supposed to have excellent iron sights (for visibility) and easy recoil control, the OTs 9 is touted as an immediate contender for the secondary meta. The developers explain that this pistol shoots faster and harder than the Bullfrog, but is limited by the size of its magazine.
The OTs 9 can get up to around 40 rounds in its magazine, which can be limited depending on how fast the pistol fires (apparently 100+ RPMs faster than the aforementioned Bully). It will be interesting to see how it settles into the meta.
Mace: melee (in season)
Yes, as we had heard previously, a mass will arrive in Warzone. It’s big, it’s slow, and it does a ton of damage when it connects.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded New Operator: Weaver
Weaver: NATO (in season)
Watch this guy blindfolded and always hungry for action. Response Team Leader Grigori Weaver is a NATO Operator and enjoys playing both sides of the Cold War. I hope he can help you play less and kill more in Verdansk.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded New Modes: Payload, Blueprint Blitz
Payload
This is the first objective-based Warzone mode of all time. As seen in War Mode of WWII, Payload has two teams of 20 move vehicles in order to do something with satellite parts and “crucial information.”
Ultimately, an attacking team escorts vehicles through checkpoints and wins the game if they do so within a certain amount of time. Defenders win if they can prevent the attacker from doing so, either by killing them or buying obstacles to get in their way. Like Plunder, you already arrive with your loadout and there are Killstreaks galore.
New event type: Blueprint Blitz (in season)
Another new fad and one that should be adored by cosmetics lovers. Blueprint Blitz will be an event that will take place from time to time that will grant a number of special contraband contracts after players complete two regular contracts. These will allow players to unlock weapon blueprints from previous seasons that they had missed.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded New Killstreak: Sentry Gun
Forget the Warzone Shield Turret of yesteryear, this time the devs are deploying something that’s rightfully useful. Like the Sentry Turret in Multiplayer, we’re talking about a beefy, automated pistol that takes out enemies within its 180 degree radius.
The Sentry Turret will last for a full minute and can be found very rarely in the Red Door Supply Boxes.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded: release date and download sizes
The Season Four Reloaded update will be available for download on Warzone on July 14th at 9 p.m. PT (July 15, 12 a.m. ET; 5 a.m. BST).
The mid-season update is between 11.4 and 21.3 GB in size for people with the full version of BOCW and between 8.9 and 10.4 GB for those with only Warzone (as long as you are already completely updated).

And there you have it: the last and best of the Warzone Season 4 mid-season Reloaded patch. There were also a few teasers about Red Door changes and weapon adjustments coming up, but we’ll have to wait to find out more and share this information when available.
