The ThunderDome era is over

We did it, guys.

The ThunderDome era is over.

After nearly a full year stationed in Tampa, Florida, first at Tropicana Field and then at Yuengling Center, WWE shut down its innovative digital workspace with this week’s episode of Monday evening gross. Bobby Lashley and MVP were the last two to work on a segment in this setting, as they headlined the show with a closing angle that saw the WWE Champion upset over the man who was his. de facto manager for many months now for making him too sweet.

Or so he said.

It was an effective segment, as MVP did a hell of a job looking completely devastated by Lashley’s words, the ones he pulled straight from Kofi Kingston’s mouth. It’s the same Kofi MVP who spent weeks trying to get into the head to no avail.

Lashley ended with this:

It comes just six days before the Money in the bank pay-per-view, where Lashley will defend the WWE Championship against Kingston. It was an exceptional closing corner building for this game, one of the best on a homecoming show we’ve seen in recent memory.

See you Sunday evening.

In front of the fans!
