The one and only Busta Rhymes joins the ever growing community of hip hop artists interested in cryptocurrencies. Although its interest has so far been exploratory, the light that a star of its caliber can shed on the crypto industry cannot be denied. This was Busta Rhyme’s original tweet:
Anyone here in #crypto? How are you gonna feel
– Busta Rhymes (@BustaRhymes) July 14, 2021
Click on it and you will see, every new token and cryptocurrency project under the sun has responded with its best selling pitch. It’s overwhelming even for us, who live and breathe crypto. Imagine what that could do to a recruit. Where does Busta Rhymes start? How does he distinguish good from evil? Who will teach him Bitcoin?
Fortunately, Busta Rhymes saw the humor of the situation.
I feel like I’m in high school with these crypto names. SHIBA? FEG? DOGE? And after !? Cat ? yyooo. Someone is telling me something .., HELP !?

Busta Rhymes pays attention to market fluctuations
The rapper’s first experience looking at the price charts was not pleasant:
I’m glad I didn’t listen to you, I’ll buy anything yesterday. These prices are falling…. đź‘€ #crypto What do you do !??
– Busta Rhymes (@BustaRhymes) July 15, 2021
Again, hundreds of projects have tried to get Busta Rhymes’ attention. Where does a person start? How does a rapper find his way through this ever-growing maze? Did Busta make a mistake while asking the free market about cryptocurrencies? Should he change his strategy? Who could help this man?
Somebody said @Elon Musk check the prices and for me to tell Elon to talk about doge? Wtf is that it !?
– Busta Rhymes (@BustaRhymes) July 15, 2021
Of course, the Dogemaster! So far, Elon Musk has not responded to Busta Rhymes’ call. Not publicly, at least.

Rappers who are friends of cryptocurrencies from the recent past
The list of rappers flirting with cryptocurrency keeps growing. Their stories are as varied as their personalities.
- Nas invested early in Coinbase and scored big when the company went public. In “Sorry Not Sorry” by Dj Khaled, Nas said: “I’m Scarface based on coins / mostly cryptocurrency.“
- It was rreported that 50 Cent was the first to receive Bitcoin as payment for his album “Animal Ambition”, then forgot about it. When he checked out, the lot was worth $ 8.5 million. Later, he had to withdraw the report under penalty of perjury. Apparently he changed the BTC to Fiat at the time. And did not contradict the press report because he presented it in a favorable light.

Now the question is, what will Busta Rhymes do? Will Elon guide him and teach him the basics? Or will he end up buying DOGE?
