People say Pusha T denounces Drake on new Pop Smoke song

Pop Smoke’s second posthumous effort, Faith, arrived today at midnight. And while many rap fans are talking about the project as a whole, some are particularly focused on a bar Pusha T dropped on Pop’s track, “Tell the Vision,” starring Kanye West, which people say , is a disagreement with Drake.

On the line in particular, King Push rhymes, “The crown is only for the king, they’re trying to place it on a clown.”

While it’s unclear who Pusha is referring to because he chose not to leave a name, people are speculating that the bar is a coup against Drake, Pusha T’s known rap enemy.

One person tweeted, “Lmao @PUSHA_T can’t be relevant without going to Drake’s. He proves it time and time again. Tell The Vision was almost a good song.”

Another wrote: “Clout is always chasing a so called ‘real nigga’. He can’t sell a record without replacing the guy from Toronto, ”presumably referring to Drizzy who comes from the Canadian city.

Pusha T and Drake’s beef dates back almost 10 years, when the Virginia-raised rhymer was still half of The Clipse with his brother Malice. However, things definitely came to a head in recent years when the president of GOOD Music came to 6 God on his 2018 album. Daytona. Pusha, who is usually relentless with his pen, shot Drizzy on “Infrared.”

And Drake, who rarely backs down from a challenge, hit back with “Duppy Freestyle,” a joint that contains criticism of Pusha and Kanye West.

Tensions escalated when Pusha T ditched “Story of Adidon” and released accompanying artwork that featured an old photo of Drake wearing Blackface. Pusha made another ruthless move, revealing that Drake has a son, information the public was not yet aware of.

In response, the big boss of OVO Records proposed “Emotionless” and “March 14” on his LP 2018, Scorpio, sharing that he has a son named Adonis and that the mother of the child is former adult movie star Sophie Brussaux.

The hatchet has yet to be buried and whether or not that will happen remains a mystery, or maybe even a rap jam that will never be solved.

Either way, take a look below for more bar folks reaction that Pusha T gave to Drake on Pop Smoke’s new song, “Tell the Vision” with “Ye” and listen.
