Warzone players dissatisfied as July wave of ban removes 50,000 pirates

The July wave of bans swept through Warzone as Raven Software suppressed more than 50,000 hackers. But the players are still not happy and do not hesitate to express their feelings.

There has been a lot of buzz around the Warzone community lately with games being ruined by hackers. Whether it’s going invisible, walling, or just aiming, the community has called for action to be taken against these cheaters.

Warzone players have received some good news about pirates, but this is still not the answer the community is looking for.

While approximately 50,000 hackers were banned on July 16 by Raven Software, the community doesn’t seem to think this will help the free-to-play cheat problem.

Waves of Warzone bans aren’t enough, fans want anti-cheat

According to Activision, Warzone has over 100 million players, so the community believes that banning less than 1% of the player base will not solve the problem of hackers crossing Verdansk.

People have expressed frustration with Twitter’s responses, including one by the name of “internalcnflct” mocking developers because hackers will be able to create new accounts.

The other players were all asking the same question: when will there be a real anti-cheat in the game?

“DeltaKila” is tired of hackers and wants to know if the developers are ready to take this seriously.

Warzone streamer Stukawaki has been permanently banned from live streaming in the middle of a tournament. It turns out that someone hacked into his account and was cheating in the Warzone lobbies. Warzone has a two-factor authentication system and when players set it up they will receive two Double Battle Pass XP tokens.

Forbidden to be too good?

Brett Hayes and others claim the developers ban people who don’t even hack. So this calls attention to what Raven Software’s “anti-cheat” system is all about.

Other responses include people posting their Activision credentials claiming that they were wrongly banned from playing the game.

Raven Software has not made public what is going on in their ban process or plans for a proper anti-cheat, but the community will not let them hear the end until it does. The waves of ban no longer seem to cut it.
