Britney Spears has just shut down supporters who she says didn’t speak out when she needed it most.

The “… Baby, One More Time” singer – who is locked in a fierce legal battle overseen by her father Jamie Spears – took on Friday, July 16 to compose an angry post to anonymous people who have remained silent.

the crossroads star posted the quote “Never forget who ignored you when you needed it and who helped you before you even had to ask,” alongside the long caption.

“There is nothing worse than when the people closest to you who have never come forward for you post about your situation whatever it is and speak uprightly for support …” that you like the most do they dare to say anything… did they even reach out to lift me up at the moment !!! ??? How dare you make it public that NOW YOU ARE SUPPORTING… did you reach out when I was drowning ???? “

Spears added that those affected by the post already know who they are.

“You actually have the nerve to say anything about my situation just to publicly save face,” she continued. “If you’re going to publish something…. Please stop with the right approach when you’re so far from fair that it’s not even funny.

Spears added a bunch of middle finger emojis to really drive the point home.

While Spears didn’t direct the note to anyone in particular, fans in the comments section were quick to point out that her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, recently posted a video. Jamie Lynn has been criticized for failing to speak out about her father’s involvement in Spears ‘guardianship as well as for allegedly benefitting financially from Spears’ situation, which she vehemently denied.

Just this week, Spears got the right to sue the end of the guardianship. Former federal prosecutor Mathew Rosengart will represent the artist in the future.

In a court statement, Spears said she was “scared” of her father Jamie Spears. She said: “I am here to get rid of my father and accuse him of abuse of guardianship.”
