The Yankees hosted the Red Sox on Saturday night at Yankee Stadium. The game was initially delayed due to the weather, but later in the game there was a temporary delay when a fan threw a baseball at Verdugo.

Look, yell at the players as much as you want. You bought the ticket and you can heckle at will. They are also real human beings just trying to do their job, so anything that puts them in danger is absolutely forbidden. You cannot throw things at players. It looks like justice has been served – hopefully with a lifetime ban from Yankee Stadium and possibly the entire MLB – and the game has finally resumed with Verdugo remaining in left field.
