Ahead of the new season’s premiere on Apple TV + this Friday, some Apple retail stores are handing out promotional sticker packs featuring Ted Lasso’s Memoji.

Apple has created a few iMessage sticker packs for other TV + shows like Snoopy in Space or Dickinson, but this is the first time we can remember that Apple was handing out show-specific promotional material in stores. Apple.

The sticker pack is a simple set of four featuring the character of Ted Lasso Memoji in a variety of poses. The sheet also includes an advertisement for the new season (which begins July 23, next Friday) and includes a QR code that directs customers directly to the TV app on their iPhone.

(It’s not clear if every Apple store will stock these stickers, so don’t make a visit just for it.)

Ted Lasso was a smash hit for the streaming service which only started at the end of 2019. Unlike many of its rivals, Apple has given up on buying a back catalog of known franchises and instead focused on the creation of completely original properties. Apple has released new content every few weeks, and Apple TV + currently has 88 titles on the schedule as it slowly builds a library of original premium TV shows and movies.

To date, Ted Lasso has been Apple TV + ‘s biggest success in terms of both critical reception and audience. This week again, Ted Lasso was nominated for 20 Emmy Awards, setting a record for awards in the comedy series category. The show also won the Golden Globes and Critics Choices Awards.
