Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s ex Jen Harley entered rehab weeks after her arrest for domestic violence.
Harley, the mother of Ortiz-Magro’s baby girl, took part in a 28-day program in Las Vegas on Saturday, her representative, Gina Rodriguez, told TMZ.
“Jenn Harley decided to go to a drug rehab center in Las Vegas to seek treatment for her alcohol addiction,” Rodriguez told the site. “She made the decision to get help because she wants to be the best parent possible for her children.”
In late June, Harley was charged with domestic assault and assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly pointing a gun at her boyfriend, Joseph Abrosole, and threatening to kill him.
Harley also has a troubled history with “Jersey Shore” star Ortiz-Magro. In 2019, Harley was arrested for allegedly throwing an ashtray at the reality TV star, and he was arrested during their relationship for allegedly hitting Harley and chasing her with a knife.
But just this spring, he dodged charges related to an April arrest for domestic violence.
Ortiz-Magro also battles personal demons, revealing in May that he would be moving away from “Jersey Shore” to undergo mental health treatment.
“After speaking to the MTV team, we mutually agreed that I will step away from the show while I seek medical treatment for mental health issues that I have ignored for too long,” he said. he wrote through his Instagram stories at the time.
“My number one goal now is to face my difficulties,” he continued, adding, “this process will be difficult, but my number one priority is to be healthy and to be the best man. and the best possible father for my daughter. “
Shortly after announcing his split from “Jersey Shore”, Ortiz-Magro proposed to his girlfriend, Saffire Matos.
