Vice President Kamala Harris is heading for what a White House official told Fox News as a “routine doctor’s appointment” at Walter Reed Medical Center on Sunday.

The visit to the hospital in Bethesda, Md., Comes after his meeting Tuesday with Democratic lawmakers in Texas. Three of the Democrats had tested positive for the coronavirus, one test positive on Friday evening and two more on Saturday morning.

Fox News asked Harris’ office if the vice president was showing symptoms of COVID-19, but they did not immediately respond.

Harris spokesperson Symone Sanders said on Saturday Harris had not been in close contact with infected lawmakers.
