Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was recently revealed to be an upcoming platform brawler that will play similarly to games in the Super Smash Bros. series, but with characters owned by Nickelodeon instead of Nintendo and others. video games icons.
Characters revealed so far include Michelangelo, Lincoln Loud, Powered Toast Man, Sandy Cheeks, Patrick Star, Oblina, Nigel Thornberry, Lucy, SpongeBob SquarePants, Helga, Reptar, Zim, Danny Phantom and Leonardo.
According to GameMill Entertainment, publisher of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, there are still other playable characters that have yet to be revealed for the game. While the game seems to be off to a good start with the roster selection, there is a serious lack of bad guys present at the moment.
It could be argued that Helga and Invader Zim fall into the villain role, but these are only 2 characters at the moment. As such, I found 5 villains that would make great candidates to add to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
We already had Leonardo and Michelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. While they have yet to be announced, Donatello and Raphael are also expected to join the roster at some point.
Of course, it would certainly make sense to add the greatest villain the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have ever known – Oroku Saki, better known as the Shredder. Of all the characters belonging to Nickelodeon, Shredder has the potential to be the meanest and most violent of all.
In some ways, it looks like the Shredder wouldn’t fit in with the rest of the Nickelodeon cast, but it would be a missed opportunity to have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles play in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and not include the Shredder, especially more than the Le Technodrome can be selected as one of the stages of the game.
The SpongeBob SquarePants series currently has the largest representation in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy already confirmed as playable characters. It certainly shows how important the SpongeBob SquarePants series is to Nickelodeon.
In a bid to steal Krusty Krab’s secret Krabby Patty formula, Plankton acts as the series’ main antagonist – although he often ends up being the butt of jokes due to his small size.
Although extremely devoid of any sort of physical threat, Plankton is generally described as a clever schemer. Oddly enough, Plankton’s schemes often fail for a variety of reasons.
To make up for his miniature size, Plankton often uses mechs he builds. This will likely be how he should be fighting in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl because he just wouldn’t work as a dot on screen.
We haven’t had any weird enough parenting reveals yet, but it should still happen. Mr. Cocker is known to be a bit unstable with his spastic ways and his (correct) belief that fairies exist in the universe of rather strange parents.
Similar to Plankton, Mr. Crocker is known more for his intelligence and inventions than for his physical attributes. In fact, Mr. Crocker is hilariously even known to injure himself during his “fairy spasms” on occasion.
It probably wouldn’t be necessary to have Mr. Crocker in a robot like Plankton, but I imagine he would be able to come up with various inventions that would be meant to capture fairies and use them as part of his moveset.
The arch nemesis of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy from the SpongeBob SquarePants series. Man Ray apparently acts as a parody of Aquaman’s nemesis, Black Manta.
In the show, Man Ray is portrayed as being physically strong with his fighting abilities, and is also armed with the ability to detonate enemies with a beam of energy he can emit from his hands.
Still, there is a lot of comedy about Man Ray. Despite his affinity for evil, Man Ray would be a fun addition to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
When it comes to Danny Phantom’s villains, Box Ghost is a complete joke. The Box Ghost is said to be the weakest of Danny Phantom’s enemies.
Box Ghost has “power over all cardboard and square containers”. Not exactly a useful capacity in the grand scheme of things. Basically, Box Ghost serves as comedic relief and is rarely an actual threat.
Still, it feels like Box Ghost would fit in nicely with the cast of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
