Things are going to get crazy tomorrow 🎉 Tune in at 11:00 am PT / 8:00 pm CEST for the worldwide reveal of an all-new game set in the Tom Clancy universe.July 18, 2021
“Tomorrow things are going to get crazy,” Ubisoft teased on its social media earlier today. “Tune in at 11:00 am PT / 8:00 pm CEST for the worldwide reveal of an all-new game in the Tom Clancy universe.”
The tweet – not to mention the stylized apostrophe “X”, which is frequently used to denote a cross-event or mashup – certainly adds credence to last month’s rumor that a cross-play by Tom Clancy with The Division, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon could be on the way.
The images that originally accompanied the tweet were eventually taken offline following a DMCA request from Ubisoft, but they were about a new game called The Division BattleCat. While we still don’t know if this is the final title of the game or a codename, implying that the game will definitely be “wild.” points to BattleCat, right?
Hmm. Everything will be revealed tomorrow, I guess.
