Followed by family members, four-term Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards is carried in his coffin to the steps of the Old State Capitol for a private funeral service, Sunday, July 18, 2021. Edwards, who died Monday in l he 93-year-old had just been moved through downtown Baton Rouge by horse-drawn carriage and honor guard from the State Capitol, where the public could come and pay their respects the day before.
