Tarek El Moussa called his ex-wife Christina Haack “crazy” in a “verbal tirade”

Tarek El Moussa is said to have launched a nasty verbal tirade against his ex-wife Christina Haack on the set of their show Flop or Flop.

The exes, who share daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, five, still work together on their home improvement show HGTV despite their official divorce three years ago.

But tensions between the two erupted on Wednesday, with El Moussa, 39, allegedly calling Christina, 38, “crazy” and saying he was “winning”.

He also reportedly compared her to his current fiancée, Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young, 33, calling Heather “richer and sexier” than Christina, according to TMZ sources.

El Moussa reportedly lost his temper after Haack informed him that she and the crew were ready to begin filming.

The insider claimed Tarek called Christina a “failed loser,” said he “made her” and “enjoyed” seeing her “fail.”

He also reportedly said, “Look at me, look at me, look at me. It’s called winning. The world knows you are crazy!

Insiders at the outlet claimed it was because she talked about smoking toad venom before meeting her boyfriend Josh Hall on her Instagram page.

They claimed that the alleged tirade was not the first.

After the incident, the production shot their scenes separately and stopped filming them together, according to TMZ.

The outlet reported that the reason for her alleged tirade was because of her concern for their two children after she published an article about smoking toad venom.

During their seven-year marriage, Tarek and Christina endured many hardships, including stage 2 thyroid / testicular cancer, fertility issues and a disturbing ‘suicidal’ weapon in 2016 involving the police.

It was revealed that police were called to their home in May 2016 after law enforcement responded to a call about a possible suicidal man with a gun. Police officers showed up with 11 deputies and even a helicopter.

Witnesses told law enforcement they saw Tarek come out of his home with a gun and participate in a nearby trial hike. Christina was seen running out of the house and was visibly upset.

The police eventually caught up with Tarek on the trail and he dropped his gun at the request of the cops. They then seized five guns he had in the house, but no arrests were made.

Days before filing the divorce papers, an insider claimed Tarek had grown suspicious of his wife’s correspondence with their then-contractor Gary Anderson.

The source claimed that this led to the incident where police were called to the house after allegedly receiving reports that Tarek had armed himself and was suicidal.

He voluntarily gave up all firearms to keep them safe for thirty days.

Tarek insisted he remained friendly with his ex so they could continue hosting their hit show, but the father-of-two took a public hit on Christina.

Shortly after their split, the pinball reality star posted a selfie of their children’s school during the open house.

‘Single #dadlife Kid’s open house … mum’s [thinking face emoji]’he captioned, clearly suggesting that the mother-of-two should have been there, but was not.

Last week, Tarek revealed that he met Christina’s current boyfriend Josh during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“A few times,” replied Heather, 33, El Moussa’s fiancée, as she stood by his side at the JBL True Summer Campaign launch event, before sharing that Hall “looks like” to a good guy.

“I don’t really know him, but I sure hope so,” added the Flip or Flop star.

Christina took to social media the same day to clarify that she had met Josh in the spring of 2021 and that she wanted to keep their relationship private “before the tornado (media attention)”.

She married Ant on December 22, 2018 and welcomed their son Hudson in September 2019.

Their union would be short-lived as they announced their separation in September 2020 and their divorce was finalized last June.

Around the same time, it was publicly revealed that Anstead is now dating Oscar-winning actress Renée Zellweger.

The reality TV star also has a daughter Amélie, 17, and another son Archie, 14, from his marriage to his first wife, Louise Anstead, from whom he divorced in 2017.
