Harvey Weinstein on his way to Los Angeles for extradition hearing

Harvey Weinstein is currently on a plane for the first time in over a year – but not for just any type of vacation … the guy is on his way to LA to deal with even more ‘accusations.

The lawyer of the disgraced film producer, Marc WerksmanWeinstein’s legal team was told his client was extradited on Tuesday and is reportedly currently on a flight from New York to Los Angeles for a possible court hearing on Wednesday.

Another lawyer for Weinstein, Norman Effman, adds that he believes Weinstein is on board a federal plane medically equipped to treat his many ailments. We haven’t confirmed this yet, however. Either way, it looks like HW is heading to California for the first time in some time.

Remember he’s been on the east coast for at least 2019 … battling a rape case that he was finally sentenced in last year only, and sentenced to 23 years behind bars. It was just a New York affair, however… he still faces charges from Los Angeles, which is why he’s brought here.

As we reported … Weinstein was charged with 11 counts of sexual assault involving 5 different women, following investigation in the wake of dozens of women who have come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct or assault in its own right … from coast to coast.

representative of Weinstein, Judah Engelmayer, told TMZ … despite his attempts to negotiate a deal to waive Weinstein’s extradition, he knew it would likely happen eventually. Engelmayer also says he’s disappointed with the LA County District Attorney for not waiting for a judge’s decision.
