The next Samsung Unpacked event will officially take place on August 11, the company confirmed, with a virtual event starting at 10 a.m. EDT / 7 a.m. PDT.
Customers can also reserve Samsung’s next flagship phone through its Reserve now site, although the company did not specify what the phone is. (Rumors point to the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, although the company may generously use the word “phone” and refer to the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, which has also hinted that it will be coming to the event.)
In fact, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything to come at the event, so we’re left to speculate. Of course, we have months of rumors and leaks to back up our expectations for what might be revealed at the biggest cross-device launch event since the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup unveiled in January.
What could happen to Samsung Unpacked on August 11?
This leaves us wondering what will be revealed at Samsung Unpacked, which promises to be a flagship event for the company’s devices. We are waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 be the centerpiece of the show, a teasing suggested, although this may not be the case for foldables – there is also rumors than the foldable valve Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is slated for a launch date in late 2021, suggesting it could also be featured at the event.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is also highly rumor to appear at the event, although reports to disagree on whether we will see the flagship more affordable Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launch during Unpacked, too. Considering Samsung’s pre-order rating, we’re assuming this will be this phone on the Samsung galaxy note 21, given all the rumors of the latter cancellation.
