Shantel Jackson and Nelly have decided to quit. They had been together since 2014. According to a screenshot from The Neighborhood Talk, Jackson revealed the status of his relationship to a fan who asked him if she and the St. Louis rapper were still in a relationship.

“R u and Nelly still together[?] I love seeing you together, ”they asked. Jackson replied, “No, we’re not… just friends.”

In November 2020, Nelly said he couldn’t imagine his life without Jackson and that he was “working for” a marriage with the Miami native.
