John Corbett and Bo Derek secretly tied the knot in December after nearly 20 years of relationship.

The “Parenthood” actor, 60, confirmed that this was the first time he or Derek, 64, had shared the news publicly, although their family and close friends had known it from the start.
“After 20 years, we decided to get married. We didn’t want 2020 to be that thing where everyone looks back and hates it. Let’s get a good thing out of it.
Their secret nuptials should come as no surprise to those who are aware of their private nature, as the couple revealed in 2018 that spending time together outside of Hollywood is a key part of their relationship’s success.
“We both travel so much, so for us our favorite vacation spot is home,” Derek told Closer Weekly at the time. “This is where the romance is.”
“We enjoy each other’s company; we make each other laugh, ”Corbett added. “After 15 years, we are still holding hands; we always have barbecues with friends a few times a week. [And Bo] always laughs at all my jokes even though she’s heard them a million times. We just like each other. I’m sad when she’s not around.
The couple were created in 2002 by Corbett’s friend, Hollywood agent Norby Walters.
“I said, ‘I’m not dating’ and he said, ‘I’ll find you a date, Corbett!’ And he set me up with Bo, ”Corbett revealed on“ Today ”in 2015.
