Blake Lively Returns to the Red Carpet in an Ab-Denuded Sequin Dress

Blake Lively’s first red carpet look in a year and a half was worth the wait.

The 33-year-old former “Gossip Girl” joined her husband Ryan Reynolds at the “Free Guy” premiere on Tuesday night in New York City, wearing a sexy and sparkling Prabal Gurung gown.

The backless sequin dress featured bold cutouts across the chest and sides, making the most of Lively’s curves and abs.

She accessorized with a handful of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and pulled her long blonde hair into a sleek ponytail wrapped in silver chains.

Lively finished off her look with dizzying Louboutins – which, as she shared on her Instagram Stories, she then swapped for a pair of more comfortable Converse high top shoes.

Reynolds, 44, looked relatively dressy (though still dapper) in his tan corduroy Brunello Cucinelli suit and black and white plaid shirt, worn without a tie.

The powerful couple have kept a low profile amid the pandemic, enjoying time at home with their three daughters – James, 6, Inez, 4 and Betty, almost 2. Lively even recently let little Inez try her hand at styling.

Despite the lack of in-person engagements, Lively and Reynolds kept fans in the loop via social media, posting photos on Saturday to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their first date.

Lively shared a sweet photo of the two in their date outfits. “10 years later. We still go out on our ‘first date,'” Lively wrote. “But in much more comfortable shoes.”
