Gordon-Levitt, who played Batman’s successor in The Dark Knight Rises, responds if he would be willing to team up with Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.
“That’s a really, really funny question,” Gordon-Levitt said. Jake’s catches when asked if he’d be up for playing Robin or Nightwing alongside Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, both of whom will reprise their roles as Batman in the upcoming film. “I have no idea. I am, to be perfectly honest, completely out of touch with anything you’ve just said.”
“I really want to see you dress up as Robin or Nightwing,” Hamilton said, jokingly saying he would update Gordon-Levitt on any developments in the DCEU. “I think that would be great.”
“Hey, that sounds good,” Gordon-Levitt replied.
Gordon-Levitt starred as Gotham City Police Office John Blake in The dark knight rises. Featured as a cop who discovered Bruce Wayne’s secret identity and was determined to help the Dark Knight, Blake bore Robin’s legal name, as revealed in the film’s finale. One of the last scenes of The dark knight rises showed him climbing a platform in the Batcave.
Flash will feature multiple versions of the Dark Knight in what should be an introduction to the Multiverse, inspired by the Breaking point cartoon story arc.
Keaton, who starred in Tim Burton’s Batman and Batman Returns, would return as an aged version of the Caped Crusader, while Affleck will also appear as the more modern Batman DCEU. Affleck and Keaton will be joined by Sasha Calle, who plays Supergirl, while Ezra Miller will reprise her role as The Flash.
Directed by Andy Muschetti and with Ezra Miller, Flash hits theaters on November 4, 2022.
