Bob Odenkirk has given fans an update on his health after revealing last week that he had suffered a “little heart attack”.

The “Better Call Saul” actor tweeted on Friday that he was “fine”.

“I’ve had my own ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ week of people who insist the world is a little better. Wow! “He wrote.” Thanks, I love everyone right now, but let’s keep the expectations reasonable! “

Odenkirk made his first public statement since his heart attack in a Twitter post on Friday last week. He thanked his family, friends and fans for their “outpouring of love”. He also thanked the doctors who cared for him and noted that he would take “a while to recover”.

Before Odenkirk’s statement, representatives for the actor told The Hollywood Reporter that he was in stable condition after “experiencing a heart attack” on the set of AMC’s “Better Call Saul.” The series was filming its sixth and final season.

A number of Odenkirk’s “Breaking Bad” co-stars have taken to social media to share their best wishes to the actor following news of his collapse on set on July 27.

“Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston wrote on Instagram last week that he was “anxious all morning” after waking up to learn that Odenkirk had collapsed.

Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman on the show, wrote on Instagram last week: “I love you my friend.”
