The Department of Health reported 615 new cases of the coronavirus statewide on Saturday, bringing the overall total to 45,860. Two new COVID-related deaths have also been reported.
A total of 101 new cases were identified on Saturday on the big island, where 1,042 cases are active and 25 people are hospitalized.
The state’s two-week average is now 464 new cases per day, with a test positivity rate of 7%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be found on the DOH website.

O’ahu: 32,076
Hawaii: 4,567
Maui: 4,503
Kaua’i: 606
Lana’i: 114
Moloka’i: 59
Pending: 0
Out of State: 1,811
A total of 2,834 people have been hospitalized with COVID-19 infection since the start of the pandemic, while at least 542 have died.
To date, a total of 1,774,560 doses of vaccine have been administered statewide, with 60.6% of the population fully vaccinated and 67.8% having received at least one injection.
